By destruction: given that the blast vaporized about 40g of bone, if we assume that bone requires about 3MJ/kg to vaporize, [1] then the yield is about 0.12MJ, 120000J, or 28.6gTNT.

If we assume that the Iron Throne weighs 3567 kg (calculated from a block of iron 2 x 2 x 4 feet), then it will require 4565.76MJ to melt. That's 1091kgTNT. [1]

Yeah, I accidentally did this one in real life figures. Maybe I'll fix that sometime. For now, just divide everything by 14 to get an approximate answer. Here is the RW version:

Iron Throne's weight = .1007744 kilograms.

Therefore, it will require 0.768908672 megajoules to melt, or 0.183773583174 kgTNT.

Smaug seems to heat maybe 300g of rock (which we'll assume is granite) by about maybe 980K. The specific heat capacity of granite is 0.790 J/g K.

0.790 x 980 x 300 = 232260 joules

232260J is 232.26KJ. Given that that's just a tiny fraction of the area of his breath, it's pretty impressive.

In the third gif, Toothless violently fragments about 3000 cc of wood. If we assume that the wood is Eastern White pine, then it requires 6.2053 J/cc to violently fragment.

3000 x 6.2053 = 18615.9

18615.9 J is 4.4493068833652 gTNT.

What if we take into account the fact that some of the wood was likely pulverized? Therefore, let's say that 1500 cc were violently fragmented, and 1500 cc were pulverized.

Fragmentation:
1500 x 6.2053 = 9307.95

Pulverization:
1500 x 33.0948 = 49642.2

Add them together:
9307.95 + 49642.2 = 58950.15 joules, or ~14 grams of TNT.
