Explosive proton warhead, fired using compressed air. It uses superconductive material to isolate its payload of protons, which are released upon detonation, stripping nearby atoms of electrons, which ionizes the surrounding air and may damage shields. [1]

Average TNT equivalent: ~30 g
Average electrical yield: ~100J
Range: ~30 feet
Advantages
Tend to do a lot of damage, can be carried by most planes, often damage shields
Disadvantages
Don’t tend do as much damage as Photon or Quantum torpedoes, range is limited
