Laser cannons

A weapon that uses a laser beam to inflict damage.

Effect:

A 40W laser cannon destroying balloons.
Lasers typically cause small but deep burn areas, and can burn or melt through most armor.

Advantages:
Tend to do a lot of damage and can be carried by planes.

Disadvantages:
Laser beams may “bloom”, and can be deflected, reflected, or absorbed. They also use a lot of power.

Do you know the range of our lasers? Because I heard that a 10-15 Milliwat laser could hit the moon.

That's true, but the light is spread out and isn't visible. I'd say ours are effective for at least several miles.
