Blaster bolt speed analysis thread

On this thread, post analysis of blaster bolt speed. One analysis per post. Use RW sizes.

In the above gif, turbolaser bolts travel 2/3 the length (~35 feet in RW) of a Star Destroyer in ~0.2 sec.
     35 x 5 = 175
     175 feet per second equals approximately 119 mph. [1] For comparison, a Nerf dart travels at about 30 to 45 mph. [2]

One of the bolts covers ~20 feet in 0.2 seconds.
     20 x 5 = 100
     100 feet per second is about 68 mph. [1]

Here a bolt travels from the front of the hanger to the bow in about 0.2 sec. The distance it travels is about 21 feet, and so it's moving at around 72 mph.

Here a bolt travels 30 feet in about 0.15 seconds. That's about 143 mph.

TIE fires cannons

The bolts cover 3 feet in 0.1 seconds, so they're going 20 mph. The TIE is going about 6 mph. Both are way too slow.
