Database: Lifting strength
« on: February 27, 2021, 10:43:43 pm »
Lifting strength is how much a character can lift. It can be measured in Newtons (N), Joules (J), or grams (g).

Lifting strength in weight/mass:
Lifting strength in kg or g is simple. Just figure out how much the thing being lifted weighs.

Lifting strength in energy:
To find out lifting energy, just plug the numbers into the equation below:
W = Fd
W is the work, or energy, of the lift. F is the force. d is the distance lifted. SO, just multiply the force (in Newtons) by the distance (in meters) to get the work (in Joules).

Another way, if you don't know the force, is:
W = (height lifted to)(mass of object)(gravitational force)
